Michael R. Flicker joined William T. Keogh and Gerald Z. Marer in the early 1970s to form Keogh, Marer & Flicker in Palo Alto. The firm was a general practice firm with extensive experience in family law. In 1990, Mr. Flicker joined with Anthony J. Kerin, III to form Flicker & Kerin LLP.
The union of Mr. Kerin's expertise in business, real estate & general civil litigation and Mr. Flicker's expertise in divorce cases that involve complex property issues, including such matters as businesses, partnerships, venture capital partnerships and similar entities, stock options, deferred compensation and real estate, formed a perfect and unique fit that enables the firm to provide a range of services. In 2002, H. Mathew Moore joined the firm as Of Counsel, which added to the firm's ability to try complicated general and family law litigation. In 2005, Michèle Bissada and Rolf Kruger became partners in the firm, which is now known as Flicker, Kerin, Kruger & Bissada LLP. The firm has continually grown to its current size as a 10-attorney firm. The current and predecessor firms have for many years received the AV rating (the highest possible rating) from Martindale Hubbell legal directory.
